Connect WhatsApp
The platform sends and receives WhatsApp messages through an Evolution instance (the WhatsApp API you host or use). Once the instance is linked, WhatsApp becomes an available channel in your sequences.
What you need
- A reachable Evolution instance, with its base URL.
- The instance's API key.
- The instance name to use.
- A WhatsApp number dedicated to outreach.
Steps
- Open Settings > Channels > WhatsApp in the app.
- Enter the Evolution instance URL, the API key, and the instance name, then save.
- Click Connect: a QR code appears.
- On your phone, open WhatsApp > Linked devices > Link a device, then scan the QR code.
- Once pairing is complete, the status switches to Connected in the app.
Verify and best practices
- Send a test message to your own number to confirm sending works and replies come back in.
- Keep the phone attached to the instance powered on and connected to the Internet.
- Ramp up volume gradually and personalize your messages: WhatsApp remains sensitive to bulk, repetitive sends.
