Connect Gmail
Linking your Gmail (or Google Workspace) mailbox lets the platform send your outreach emails from your own address and receive replies so they are automatically sorted into your inbox.
Steps
- Open Settings > Channels > Email in the app.
- Click Connect Gmail. A Google window opens.
- Choose the account to connect, then accept the requested permissions (reading and sending emails). These accesses are required to send your sequences and track replies.
- Back in the app, the connected address appears with the Active status.
Check that everything works
- Send a test email from the app to another address you own.
- Check that it arrives properly (and not in spam) and that the reply shows up in the platform's inbox.
Things to watch out for
- Prefer an address dedicated to outreach rather than your primary address, to protect your domain's reputation.
- If the connection drops after a few days, reconnect the account from Settings > Channels. This can happen if Google access is still in its validation phase.
