Frequently asked questions
Why do I need to bring my own AI key?
We don't resell AI. By connecting your own key (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), you pay your provider directly, at token cost, with no hidden markup. That's what lets us keep the subscription deliberately affordable.
How does it work in practice?
You create a key with your AI provider, then paste it into your workspace settings. It is encrypted at rest and never displayed again. All of Beaufixe's AI calls then go through your key.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. The subscription has no commitment: you can cancel whenever you want from your billing settings. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
What does the free trial include?
The 14-day trial starts as soon as you sign up, with no credit card. You get the full Solo plan. At the end, you either subscribe or the workspace locks: your data stays, the automations stop. You connect your own AI key from day one, so you only ever pay your provider at cost.
What's the difference between monthly and yearly?
The yearly subscription gives you a 20% discount compared to monthly, billed once for the year. Monthly stays commitment-free.
How much does AI cost on top of the subscription?
It depends on your volume and your provider. As a rough guide, expect around €15 to €30/month for typical usage. You pay your provider directly, at the real token price.
